A quick project....
Fun trick: The floral graphics on this mail art were achieved by making a gel medium transfer. I found this image in a magazine. Since the image was brown on a pure white background, all that transferred was the brown. White will not transfer. Just a quick tip to help you in selecting your images to transfer. Have a great day!
(Don't let the title of this post fool you.....I let my transfers cure up and dry over night...ergo, I guess this really isn't a "quick" project...my bad.)

I need to learn patience, overnight is a long time but much better result as you have proven over and over. Thank you.

This is incredible. I have looked all over for the Ground Pastel stuff. I guess I will have to order it. And, for you...there are no shipping charges...you are free of charge to come to the crazy mixed up world of forcryeye anytime, and I sure hope you do! xoxoxoxo

Hi Julie ! This is beautiful - the browns are so soft and "antique" looking ! I have had so much hit or miss success with gel medium transfers ! I hate it when I try it on something I am loving the look of and it gets "wrecked" by pulling way parts of my bottom surface as I remove the transfer image ! Any sure-fire tips to share ? By the way, I posted Part II of my "Interview with The Artist" this morning! Thank you so very much for adding my link to your page !!!I really feel flattered and honored !
Take care !

Wow, the tone of this piece is so soft and melancholy, it makes me want to go take a nap on the thick, sweet grass under the shady magnolia trees! Great piece with wonderful transfer. And thank you for the very kind remarks you left on my blog. I'm anxious to use that sheet rock tape some more.

I love this piece...one question. Which gel do you use? I tried a gel transfer with Golden's but it was not the heavy gel and it didn't work very well. Just wondering what you used to get such great results! :~)
