A welcome distraction..
The Pioneer Woman has unveiled her new photography blog. If you like to take pictures, you should check it out. I am having a great time following a couple of simple (and I mean SIMPLE) tips she has shared so far.
Some orchids from the San Diego Wild Animal Park Orchid and Butterfly show...straight out of the camera.
Same photo after a couple of simple clicks. Pow! It totally comes to life. I don't know why, but the orchids were covered in lint. (I was a little disappointed with the show...the annual orchid festival at South Coast Plaza is a much better display.)

Wonderful orchid Julie. Some editing sure makes a difference, comes to life indeed.
Thanks for the link. Love to try if some of these Photoshop 'tricks' will work in my photo editing software.

Wow. That does make a big difference. I'll have to check it out. Am I hearing what I think I'm hearing? Are you missing the OC?
I went to Rogers Gardens for my veggie plants. That place is so amazing.

Your orchid photos are BEAUTIFUL. I'm off to read what Pioneer Woman is up to -- found out about her from my friend Tina at PaperMojo. Congrats on winning Tina's giveaway for her 100th post! That's where I found the link to your blog! :)
