Imagination: Now Open
10x7" journal page: acrylic, spray paint, hand cut stencils, collage
The Living Room turned out to be one great big doodle fest..swirls in particular. This page is no different. Because my schedule changed a little bit while making this art journal, I found myself on the couch every night with a pen and a few small supplies, watching TV out of the corner of my eye and journaling with the other. There are only 2 pages of actual "events" journaling, but the majority of the book has little wording.
Have a great day today! Weather is warming up for the next few days, so I think we're off to enjoy the great outdoors! See you soon!

This is wonderful! Oh doodling in from of the TV is a good idea! Not sure how many more cartoons I can stand! LOL!
Luck you with the nice weather- it is only 58 degrees here- lucky we do have sunshine!

Julie, What a great journal page! I like everything about it... very clever and very you! Thanks for "stopping by" and leaving such a nice comment. Hey... take it from me... you NEED to send some of your art in to be published! I have no doubt Somerset Studio would be tickled to receive something from you, like today's journal entry. Getting your work published is a great rush and a lovely thing to add to your "resume"... I have some extra padded mailers... should I send you a couple?!? :D

Julie,
When I first met you, I mentioned to you that you were an artist and just didn't know it yet.
Now, take Kathy's advice and send your stuff in for publication....it's just getting better and better.
I know that I don't comment often but I read your blog every day, without fail.
I'm happy for your most recent find, A HOUSE....WHOOOO HOOOOOO!!!! Congratulations! Keep us posted with pictures pleeeeeeze!!
XOXO, Jilly
