Journal Pages....pre julification
On top of all the goods I've been making for the shop, I am still working away in my journal. The journal I am working in is one of the hand made books I put together a few months ago...and I am so happy with how it is holding up, laying flat....it feels so great in my hands..
These pages are all taken from that journal: acrylic paint + spray paint.
Big excitement in our neighborhood this weekend as our next door neighbors returned from their big United States RV tour! They blogged the whole way; what a trip! Welcome home guys!

Eesh, Woman, gorgeous pages, I'd so LOVE to journal on 'em just as they are!
meanwhile, glass paint: here's a link:

but it's just the paint used for stained glass, I guess. I happened on it accidentally in a sales bin, got 10 bottles for $2 bucks, and fell in love with it because it's transparent.

Great pages Julie! I worked in my journal over the weekend and for the first time, it just felt right.
Have a great December!

You seem to be in a turquoise frame of mind, Julie. Love the color and love these pages. It makes me a little jealous -- I'll bet the Pacific is still this luscious aquatic color, whereas the Atlantic here has turned to shades of steel and moss. Ah, New England in winter!
PS. Please show us the book when it's done. I'd love to see how it turns out.

The pages are looking stunning!! Did you get any pics of the celestial show? I tried, but, alas, I do not have a tripod. I found out that, without it, no amount of trying to keep as steady is possible will do the trick. So I got these 3 great squiggles! One super fat, and 2 skinny ones.
